Posted on 05 May 2018 by admin (0)

Have you been planning a trip to China lately? Puzzled and have no idea what to do while you are on vacation in China? Fortunately for you, in this piece is a list of the top three things to do in China to have an amazing experience

  1. Hike the Great Wall of China in Beijing

The Great Wall is the most popular tourist attraction in China, and it also serves as the symbol of China internationally. For you to have a complete vacation in China, you should hike the Great Wall. To hike the Great Wall, it costs just about half a day or a full day. For fans of the Walls, you can have a comprehensive Great Wall Exploration to see both the normal and wild walls.

In case you don’t know, the Great Wall stretches from western China to the east. The most highlighting part of the wall is the part in Beijing, Tianjing and Hebei Province, some of the famous sections include- Badaling Great Wall, Mutianyu Great Wall, Simatai Great Wall, Jinshanling Great Wall, etc. Mutianyu Great Wall which is well-preserved and less crowded is the most recommended, and it will take you a half day to visit this particular wall.

2.   Go Witness the Underground Wonder of Terracotta Warriors in Xian

The Terracotta Warriors in Xian is a must-see for every visitor in China. This eighth wonder of the world will outrightly shock you, it is, in fact, one of the greatest archeological finds in the world. Under the command of Qin Shi Huang (the first imperial Emperor of China, 259~210 BC), over 8,000 life-sized soldiers, 130 chariots with a total of 520 horses and 150 cavalry horses were made to protect him in his life after death.

Standing right in front of these figures will leave you awed, not only by the determination of the Emperor but also by the excellent artistic skills of the Chinese artisans. If you want to visit the Terracotta Warriors, you can take a flight from Beijing Xian, Chengdu and other cities in China to Xian city first (a bullet train is a good option too), then you drive for about 40km to get to this wonderland.

  1.    Sky Walking on the World’s Longest and Highest Glass Bridge

Since when the bridge has been opened since 2016, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge has become one of the most famous tourist attractions in 2016 and 2017 in the world. Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge is the highest and longest glass bridge in the world today, with a full length of 430m and a height of 400m above the bottom of the valley; it has also been listed by CNN in their list of the “12 Most Spectacular Bridges in the World”.

You might feel too frightened to walk on this bridge, but you can have a wonderful view of the green valleys and silver streams under 400m. If you want to walk on the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, it is advisable to book a ticket at least three days prior to the D-day.
